Even though it happens every single year, somehow, finding the best Fatherโ€™s Day gift doesnโ€™t get any easier. But as a classically-trained chef, I have a few ideas for the foodie father in your life to help support one of his favorite hobbies: eating!

For some extra inspiration, Iโ€™m rounding up some of my favorite cooking tools, along with other practical (and hilarious) products that are perfect for your dad, uncle, grandfather, and even the new dad in your life. To really make this annual holiday special, I hope one of the 30 best Fatherโ€™s Day gifts will bring him some extra joy.

The Best Fatherโ€™s Day Gifts

1. For the Meat Lover: ThermoWorks Thermapen One

If the dad in your life is a self-proclaimed grill master, heโ€™ll love the ThermoWorks Thermapen One for its incredible reliability and accuracy (the readings are within .5 degrees F!). Itโ€™s my favorite instant-read thermometer and has been my trusty sidekick for 20 years for when I need to quickly check temps, which is easy to do thanks to the backlit screen. Itโ€™s also a shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof thermometer, and it features motion-sensing sleep and wake modes to save battery life.ย

2. For the French Fry Lover: Prep Solutions Tower French Fry Cutter

Itโ€™s hard to get fries as crispy as McDonaldโ€™sโ€”but with a french fry cutter, heโ€™ll finally be able to achieve perfect shoestring fries every time. After testing french fry cutters, Iโ€™ve decided that this one from Prep Solutions is the best one. Even though itโ€™s a one-trick pony, if Dad loves fries as much as we do, heโ€™ll get plenty of use out of it. Itโ€™s small and compact to store and is dishwasher safe, but youโ€™ll quickly wonder how youโ€™ve survived so long without one.

3. For the Dad Who Loves Smoked Meat: Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker

If Dad has already mastered grilling, itโ€™s time for him to tackle his next challenge: a charcoal smoker. Iโ€™ve had the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker for about 5 years, and I like that itโ€™s a good entry-level smoker thatโ€™s it pretty easy to use. Itโ€™s essentially a set-it-and-forget-it charcoal smoker, but if Dad needs some extra help, I have a whole guide on how to use one. Soon youโ€™ll all be enjoying Smoked Chicken and Smoked Salmon.

4. For the Handy One: Rak Tool Magnetic Wristband

Whether heโ€™s a pro, a weekend DIY warrior, or just likes to dink around in the garage, Dad will love sporting this magnetic wristband to easily hold screws, nails, bolts, washers, and drill bits. Finally, no more dropping bolts or losing screws! The nylon outer layer is extra tough and tear-resistant, plus the strap is adjustable with a breathable mesh for a comfortable fit on his wrist. More than 17,000 reviewers on Amazon attest to its usefulness for carpentry, auto repairs, and other DIY projects.ย

5. For the Griller: Grillmasterโ€™s Cookout Caddy

Even if Dad has every grill accessory out there, heโ€™ll love this personalized caddy that he can fill with his favorite sauces and seasonings as well as the necessary grill tools. It has a built-in paper towel holder to clean up saucy situations, and thereโ€™s a bottle opener so he can enjoy his favorite beer while he tends to the grill. You can customize it up to 25 charactersย for a truly unique and special gift.

6. For the Cocktail Lover: Bev Cocktail Maker Machine

Making a Whiskey Sour or Dirty Shirley couldnโ€™t be easier with a cocktail machine. There are a lot of great cocktail machines out there, but I personally love the Bev Cocktail Maker Machine. It pulls directly from store-bought liquor bottles and holds up to five 750-milliliter bottles, meaning you can make a bunch of cocktails in it. Itโ€™s a splurge that Dad will appreciate when he doesnโ€™t have to think twice about the ratios for his perfect cocktail at the end of the night.

7. For the Spicy One: KRUPS Fast Touch Electric Coffeeย

Even if your dad already has a coffee grinder, I still believe you should have a second one just for spices. My husband is a coffee drinker, and we keep separate grinders for coffee and spices, but because grinders are so compact, it doesnโ€™t take up too much space to have both. Just be sure to make labels so thereโ€™s no getting chili powder in your coffee grounds! I love using this KRUPS one as a spice grinder as it creates a fine grind in less than 10 seconds and its one-touch system.

8. For the Outdoor Cook: Ooni Koda 12 Pizza Oven

If Dad loves to cook outdoors during the warmer months, heโ€™ll love this stylish outdoor pizza oven. Itโ€™s one of my go-to cooking gifts, has thousands of rave reviews, and plenty of food publishers say itโ€™s worth the hype. With its super-fast heating outdoor pizza oven, heโ€™ll be able to cook a wood-fired pizza in just 60 seconds! The gas-powered machine can reach up to 950 degrees in 15 minutes, and its adjustable heat control can be turned down to roast veggies, too.ย

9. For the Pizza Lover: The Perfect Pizza Pack

If you need a last-minute Fatherโ€™s Day gift that is sure to please, the Perfect Pizza Pack is a great, cheeky gift for the day. Earning its claim to fame on Shark Tank, the Perfect Pizza Pack will make packing leftovers for his lunch so much easier. The triangular design matches the contour of leftover pizza, so Dad doesnโ€™t have to suffer through finding space for the entire pizza box in the fridge or bothering with aluminum foil or plastic wrap to save his leftovers. Plus, it stretches to fit multiple slices.

10. For the Hairy Guy: BaKblade 2.0 PLUS Back Shaver

Credit: Amazon

Some men have hairy backs, itโ€™s just a fact. But for those who do have excess hair they want to get rid of, more than 38,000 reviewers on Amazon and Menโ€™s Health say this back shaver will do the trick! It has a comfortable rubber handle that connects to the exfoliating back brush to prep his skin before a row of three blades gives a clean and close shave. It can be used wet or dry, folds up for storage, and the blades are easily replaced.ย
