ย

Megganโ€™s notes

I absolutely LOVE football season, but probably not for the football. I love it for the food that we get to taste while other people enjoy the game.

Chili bar, wings, dips: itโ€™s a mash-up of all the favorites. โ€œWhat shall I feed them this weekend,โ€ I wonder, as I sort through all the appetizers, soups, and sandwiches. Itโ€™s a tough call, and no giant Samsung replay monitor is going to help me. Itโ€™s all just too good!

A good rule of thumb, like any party, is to mix it up. Have 1 or 2 hot entrees, some cold side dishes, plenty of Super Bowl snacks, and some pre-portioned sweets so guests can help themselves.

Game Day Snacks

1. Crockpot Meatballs with Grape Jelly Sauce

The easiest party appetizer on the planet is also the most delicious. You can make meatballs from scratch (Iโ€™ll show you how), but if you want a shortcut, buy frozen meatballs. With that trick, youโ€™re looking at 3 ingredients total (meatballs, grape jelly, and chili sauce).
